The fund is a general fund with the ability to invest in most sectors. It does however have a strong focus on secondary agriculture, food and technology. South Africa has a history and strong culture of farming where it is the global leader in certain areas. Global eating patterns have evolved which has put South Africa in a strong position to take advantage of our location and crops. We have a strong affinity for manufacturing businesses having come from that environment.

Clearwater Capital currently manages assets of approximately R1bn.  The fund has managed various investments from 2004 which has ranged from property, packaging, medical, waste management, secondary agriculture and industrial supplies. We are growth capital investors, having achieved a realised IRR of over 26% since our inception.
